Cooking for love letters

Receiving a written letter is an exceptional pleasure these days. However, when it happens, it is a real moment of joy. The eagerness to open the envelope to discover what it contains is matched only by the dedication of time taken by the writer. Like a timeless parenthesis, when we write a letter, we take the time to think about each word, each idea that we put down on paper. We take the time to reveal our feelings, often more than we would have done verbally, to the person we are writing to and sometimes to ourselves.
What a great way to send love!

Some time ago, I received two written letters on the same day — a very rare occurrence! I realized the immense joy that this gave me, and it made me want to send letters full of love to those who would receive them.
Cooking has always been an act of love for me. Cooking a good meal for those you love, cooking with family, sharing and passing on recipes — these small gestures filled with love are part of my daily life.
That’s how the idea of creating a chain letter in which we would share one of our favorite recipes was born. Not just any recipe, but a recipe that is close to our hearts, either because it comes from our family or because it reminds us of a good moment or someone we love.
So, I decided to sent a dozen letters to people I love, each with a recipe that I particularly like, and I asked the people who received each letter to do the same. I also asked them to make the recipe and send me a picture of it.

On this page, you will find all the pictures of the recipes made by people who received a letter from this chain.
