New year’s Eve menu: Lobster tails

I am preparing our little New Year’s Eve party. On the menu: lobster tails.
We stay quietly at home. I take advantage of these last moments as a family of 3 to spend time with Giulia.
Giulia is born with one month in advance. So I spent the whole month of December telling myself that I could give birth at any moment. Finally it seems that this baby will be a 2022 baby! What better way to start this new year?
It’s not yet midnight in France, so I’m going to respect the tradition and wait for midnight to pass to wish you a wonderful year.
In the meantime, to end the year well, here is the recipe for the lobster tails.

Lobster tails

Ingredients
  

  • 4 lobsters
  • 40 g salted butter
  • 2 lemons
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • Espelette pepper
  • Parsley

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 180°.
  • Chop the garlic.
  • Mix the softened butter with the garlic and the parsley. Add the zest of half a lemon and the Espelette pepper. Mix to flavour the butter.
  • Split the lobster tails in half and place them on the baking sheet.
  • Spread the butter generously on the lobsters.
  • Place in the oven for 12 minutes.
  • When the lobsters are cooked, add a dash of lemon juice.
  • Serve with the cooking butter
